  • Master of the Black Arts (4) Occultism & magic.
  • Butcher of Men (3) The Father has lived though many times of war.

Magic

If killed, the Father rises again three days later. This power never fails, but he may need a few more days (and a few fresh victims) before reaching his full strength.

Power 5 - The Father can animate the bodies of the dead, a la the Resurrection, and command them telepathically. Overpowers often result in unruly thrall who wander off to kill and eat innocents.

Power 8 - In return for his tireless efforts to terrorize Christians, the Black Man of the Woods has granted The Father supernatural combat prowess. His can perform feats of incredible strength, speed, and ferocity.

Notes

To early Christians, the End of World was an immanent event. Most believed it would happen in their own lifetime. After a generation or two, a few of them decided to take matters into their own hands. They petitioned the Olympian to help recreate Christ's death and resurrection in a ritual that has become known as the Sanguine Baptism.

Unfortunately, the result was somewhat overpowered. For many years, the survivors feared they had unleashed the anti-christ upon the world. The priest who took on Jesus' mantle did, in fact, experience the resurrection. He is now immortal. However, he must feed regularly upon the blood and bodies of the innocent.

The Father can also "resurrect" others, but only as zombie-like thrall under his command. They usually return to the grave when the Father is done with them, but no always. Many of his wayward children are behind tales of the vampire. They share their Father's hunger for flesh, as well as he fear of the cross, because it was the instrument of his first death.

Since the depths of the dark ages, the Father has served the interests of the Black Man of the Woods. He uses his children and his knowledge of the occult to spread fear and terror across the nations of men. In return, the Great Spirit grants him prowess in combat to match his reputation as a vicious butcher. Beyond that, the Father craves only two things: to sate his endless hunger and protect himself against those who seek to end his existence.
