Magic

The Rolling Wave (Power 7) - A demon that moves through patterns in objects, animals, and crowds. It knows everything that transpires within the city and can arrange for dangerous "accidents" to befall its enemies.

Narcissus (Power 4) - A demon so hideous that human minds refuse to see it. In return for the temporary use of a beautiful human body, he can extend his "invisibility" to mortals.

Notes

Flaws - Vanity (likes getting the attention he deserves) and Enemies (he has embarrassed quite a few cops and prosecutors in court).

Talents - Buff (Jonathan stays in shape for the ladies) and Moderately Wealthy (he still has to work for a living, but he's not hard up for cash).

Jonathan inherited his knowledge of spirits from his grandfather, who raised him until the age of eight. Then, he moved to the city to live with his father, who drummed all that "indian bullshit" right out of the boy's head. He grew up, went to law school, and became an idealistic public defender.

In the course of his work, Jonathan began to see the bits and pieces of the magical world. He spent more and more time thinking back to his grandfather's stories, and though he cannot recall any of the spirit-talker's rituals, he has found other ways to communicate with spirits.

Now, he trades favors with local Created and Arisen beings in order to provide his clients with services that no other law office can match. He defends the innocent against overzealous law enforcers, misguided prosecutors, and criminal threats. When the courts fail, he can even appeal to higher powers...
