Magic

Power 4 - Narcissus' current form is so inconceivably hideous that mortal minds refuse to perceive him. Animals, lacking aesthetic sensibilities, are often able to penetrate this shroud of invisibility. For a price, Narcissus can extend the effect to others, though he must remain in the beneficiary's presence.

Notes

This Narcissus is not the one from Greek myth; he merely takes his name from it. His true name is known only to a few shamans and spellbinders. Born a human, he became a spirit when he sold his soul to a spellbinder for physical beauty. Unfortunately, the ritual overpowered, killing him in a whirlwind of wild magic.

The spell turned inward, creating an Arisen spirit with Narcissus' memories and personality. It twisted his desire around, making him repulsive beyond imagining. It drove him more than a little insane. Now, he obsesses over beauty in all its forms.

The price for his services is always the same: a few hours in the body of someone beautiful. This is usually accomplished via the Rite of Ecstasy or some other possession ritual. Though he is famous for spending his allotted time staring into mirrors, he has also been known to seek out strip clubs, art shows, and one night stands.
