Power 8 - The Dark Mother has invested incredible combat prowess in Cyn, but it only manifests against opponents that Cyn knows are guilty of a crime. Mere suspicion is insufficient, as is pure self-preservation. Even when it does kick in, she has a hard time keeping it under control.

Flaws - Wanted (her vigilante actions have attracted police attention) and Poor As Dirt (she lost her job long ago, then her home and her savings).

When Cynthia Walters tried to save a little girl from a bank robber's bullet, she was shot in the head for her trouble. At death's door, a mysterious goddess asked her to return to the world as an avatar of justice. Her recovery was miraculous, as were the combat powers that now boiled inside her.

Her new crusade quickly got her fired and alienated her friends. Now, she hitchhikes her way across America, hunting down the men responsible for her death... and the deaths of the dozen of hostages she tried to save.
